Ever wondered what happens to timber pallets and crates when they are damaged beyond repair? Our Pace Pallets Waste (PPW) service collects tired, old standard pallets from all over Sydney and gets them recycled.
The timber is shredded and used as bedding for animals – chicken and egg farmers really like it – and it becomes really useful mulch for gardens and is used by landscapers, gardeners and developers. By doing this we reduce the amount of timber being sent to landfill.
Being a company which uses timber stock every day, Pace Pallet Services is “green friendly” and very conscious of the environment and sustainability (refer to our articles on sustainable harvesting of timber by our supplier). We only use timber grown at government-accredited sustainable forests and with our PPW service we return the timber to its place of origin and reduce carbon emissions.
